Former James Bond actor Sir Roger Moore has passed away age 89. The news comes from his family who made a twitter statement. According to them, the actor passed away after a short bout with cancer.

Moore was the third actor to play James Bond after Sean Connery and George Lazenby and took up the role at age 42. His tenure as bond covered films like “Live and let die”, “For your eyes only”, “Octopussy”, “The Man With The Golden Gun”, “Moon Raker”, “A View To A Kill” and “The Spy Who Loved Me”.
He will be remembered for his role and Bond and his charity work.
