All eyez on me is a biographical film about late rap legend, Tupac. It stars Demetrius Shipp Jr as the titular character, Walking Dead’s Danai Gurira as Afeni Shakur, Dominic L Santana as Suge Knight and Jamal Woolard as Biggie Smalls (reprising his role from Notorious).
It is directed by Benny Boom, known for helming such films as Next Day Air, SWAT;Firefight and named after the rapper’s fifth studio album. This marks his third venture into film making. The film follows the rap legend from the start of his career in New York all the way to his fatal shooting in Las Vegas.
All eyez on me will debut in cinemas on June 16th, 2017.
